Compose a list of things that you should do during and after going on a job interview.

    -introduce yourself
    -shake hands with the interwiewer
    -try no to talk too much or too little
    -when speaking, make sure you are speaking clearly and properly
    -answer any questions asked by the interwiewer as best as you can
    -once the interview is over, shake the interviewers hand again

    Greet the receptionist or secretary.
    If given papers, fill them out neatly.
    Use titles (Mister, Doctor, etc.).
    Make good eye contact.
    Avoid stuttering, use of slang, and such.
    Thank the interviewer for his/her time after it's done.
    Don't call the employer regularly to see if you got the job.
    If you currently have a job, keep it. If not, keep looking for other jobs.

    During an interview you should smile and take notes while the interviewer is talking. Use proper language no street slang and no words like well, um, hey, dude, whatever. Don't talk fast or slow and think about your volume as well. You should have good posture firm handshake and make eye contact. Afterwards you should send a thank you letter by e-mail and you should also continue looking for jobs and make a follow up phone call

    4. Avoid using "like" and "um" as every other word.
    5. Make eye contact with your interviewer.

    1. Continue to look for a job. The job is not official yet therefore to continue the job search is vital
    2. Send a thank you letter. You want to give off the correct vibe towards your potentail new boss
    3. Give the corporation a call. This makes the corporation keep you in mind and show you intrigued you are for the job.
    4. Consult your references about the potential new job. Make sure they know the right things to say if the corporation calls them.
    5. Make an overall grade upon yourself. Think of things that could make yourself better on your next interview.

    Things you should do during and after an interview:

    -The first thing you should do right after the interview is to email the HR who arranged the interview, and also the interviewer

    -The second thing you should do is to call back and check the status to show you are eager to join them.

    -continue your job search.

    -Dress appropriately.

    -Be on time. Better yet, arrive early. Just don't be late.

    -Bring extra copies of your resume.

    -Be aware of body language. Try to look energetic. Give a firm handshake upon meeting the interviewer. Maintain eye contact, but don't stare. Display good posture, and don't forget to smile.

    -Give qualitative answers. Avoid answering questions using "yes" or "no".

    -Emphasize your strengths. Let the employer know that you are reliable and/or that you have great communication skills.

    -Be honest. Never exaggerate or lie about your past experiences.

    -Ask questions. Remember that you already know what questions to ask because you are prepared.

    -Remain calm. Avoid nervous habits such as tapping your foot, playing with your hair, or biting your nails.

    -Close the job interview positively. Make sure to thank the interviewer for his or her time and shake the interviewer's hand.

  13. During a job interview there are many things that you should do. First of all you should arrive on time and act apropriately. Any hard working and job striving person is very punctual wanting to be on time and looks can make the difference, for you see this could be your future employer so make a good impression. You also want to be ready not nervous and ready to hook him making him want to hire you. Show him your credentials, all you've done to make it this far. Afterwards you can chech by calling to see if you got the job.

    Shake the interviewers hand firmly. It shows confidence. Self-confidence is of course a trait that create a good first impression.
    Build rapport with the job interviewer. There is often an opportunity before you formally start the interview where there is time for 'small talk' which relaxes both parties.
    These aspects include sending a ‘thank you’ message (i.e. email or letter) to the interviewer after the job interview.
    Make sure that you keep in mind these aspects before you complete the interview process.
    The general thank you letter or thank you email is aimed at better placing your intent of being interested in the job position.

    During an interview you should maintain eye contact and act confident, but not cocky. Always try to answer truthfully and from the heart. Make sure to shake the hand of the employer before and after the interview. This shows good character and a legiteamate interest in the job. After the interview make sure to calm yourself down and remain confident about your interview, but don't be sure that you have sealed the deal quite yet. Make sure to call back within a few days or so to see if the job is yours. Remain professional during all of this and the job is as good as yours.

    -arrive a few minutes early, not too early.
    -be friendly, greet the people you are going to be talking to with a hand shake
    -highlight your good points, don't bring up anything negative that isn't necessary.
    -be confident, if you don't carry yourself well someone will notice.

    After interview:
    -stay optomistic, don't mull over a small mistake you might have made.
    -keep your search for a job going, you may not get the job. You shouldn't wait until you get a phone call back.
